Your investment in quality eyewear deserves to be protected. Our Lifetime Extended Warranty does just that. If you break, bend, or just wear out your glasses, we will repair or replace them, FOREVER! (This warranty applies only to the original purchaser.)
The coverage summarized below is available on every pair of glasses we sell. If you ever wear out glasses before you lose them, this warranty is a bargain!
Covered:
- Broken frames
- Bent frames
- Faded or scratched finish on frame
- Broken or bent temple pieces
- Torn or worn out padding (in protective sports eyewear)
- Broken, bent or worn out nose pads
- Manufacturing defects of any kind
- Broken lenses1
- Lost screws
- Hinge imperfections of any kind
Not Covered:
- Loss or theft.
- Scratched lenses or lens coatings 2 (Native Eyewear is the only manufacturer with a Lens Replacement Guarantee.)
- Damage caused by unreasonable use.
Protective sports eyewear:
Protective sports eyewear by RecSpecs or Hilco can also be included in this plan. Each of these companies offers their own warranty coverage for frames, but their plans do not cover problems with pads, straps or lens insertion. Pads and straps are the most likely item to wear out or brake. These are both covered under the ADS Sports Eyewear Lifetime Extended Warranty. In the unlikely event that a lens does not fit perfectly into the special grooves in protective eyewear, this warranty will promptly rectify the problem. (If this problem is evident early on, you don't need a warranty to get it fixed.) Regardless of whether the eyewear manufacturer or our lab is at fault, this warranty provides an immediate solution with no finger pointing.
Processing a warranty claim:
Processing a claim is fast and easy. Call us for a Return Authorization Number first, and print this on the outside of the packaging that you return the glasses in. (See Return instructions) Use a cardboard box that will protect the eyewear from further damage. If you don't have appropriate packaging, contact us. For $2.50 we will send you a box. (This price covers the cost of the box as well as shipping and handling) You will need your receipt, or a copy of the email confirmation that we sent you, or an order number as proof of purchase. We will promptly repair your glasses to good-as-new condition, or replace them3. It's that simple.

As always, we will ship your glasses back to you at no charge. You pay the shipping to our location, and we suggest that you use a carrier that requires a signature at destination and provides transit insurance.
Footnotes:
1. Cracked or chipped lenses will be replaced at no charge. However scratched lenses are NOT covered under this extended warranty. (See footnote #3 below) Therefore if you scratch your lenses, and then a pickaxe accidentally falls on them, you will still NOT get free replacement lenses.
2. Any lens will become scratched if it is not properly cared for. Some materials such as TrivexTM are more scratch resistant than others, but scratchproof lenses are non-existent. There will be hardeners or scratch coatings on any lens we sell to help minimize scratches, but proper care and cleaning are the only way to prevent scratches on a lens.
In spite of this, Rudy Project provides a Lens Replacement Guarantee on all their glasses. As far as we know, Rudy Project is the only manufacturer to offer this guarantee.
If you need to replace lenses, and you didn't purchase the extended warranty, we will still take care of you. Call us for pricing and availability. We'll be glad to tell you what your options are.

3. ADS Sports Eyewear reserves the right to choose whether glasses are repaired or replaced. If you purchased glasses that were listed as "closeout", or if the manufacturer has discontinued the specific model that you purchased, we may have to replace them with a comparable pair. Of course, you will be included in this decision making process.
